Product Description

Régnard 2024 Chablis “Grand Régnard” is a refined and expressive example of classic Chablis—precise, mineral-driven, and elegantly structured. Produced by one of the region’s most historic houses, the wine balances bright citrus and orchard fruit with a hallmark limestone freshness. Richer and more polished than many entry-level Chablis, Grand Régnard offers both immediacy and sophistication, making it an excellent introduction to the purity and terroir-focused style that defines northern Burgundy.

Origins & Craftsmanship

Maison Régnard is one of the oldest wine houses in Chablis, founded in 1860 by Zéphir Régnard. Today the estate operates under the stewardship of Burgundy’s respected winemaking family associated with Maison Joseph Drouhin, continuing a tradition of precision and terroir-focused Chardonnay.

“Grand Régnard” is crafted from a selection of vineyards across the Chablis appellation, highlighting the distinctive terroir that defines the region. Chablis vineyards are famous for their Kimmeridgian limestone soils, rich with fossilized marine sediment that gives the wines their signature mineral character.

The wine is produced from 100% Chardonnay, the sole grape permitted in Chablis. Vineyard management emphasizes freshness and fruit purity, while winemaking focuses on preserving the natural minerality and crisp acidity typical of the region.

A notable feature of the wine is its distinctive bottle design, modeled after a historical 17th-century bottle shape—an elegant nod to Burgundy’s long winemaking heritage.

The result is a Chardonnay that captures the essence of Chablis: bright fruit, lively acidity, and a clean mineral backbone.
