This, my friend, is a design that continues to bring tears to my eyes as I reflect on its meaning.
The rainbow bridge idea is one that was first brought about in a poem, explaining the wonderful place our beloved pets go when they pass on.
This design has a profoundly deep and personal meaning for me - it's one of those ZOX where the words on the card just sort of poured out of me as I reflected on the loss of my first dog, Kirby.
While I cried for three days straight after losing him, I realized that I am far from alone in that experience. Each of us who decides to bring a pet into our lives does so knowing that one day, our hearts will be absolutely broken. But we do it anyway.
If you’ve lost a pet and are looking for a wonderful way to remember them, I hope this beautiful reminder gives you peace as it reminds you of what they really would have wanted for you right now - to be happy again.
