Visit us for the ultimate Emma Bridgewater experience and discover behind the scenes of our Victorian factory where you’ll learn about our traditional pottery production methods and see our specialist decorating technique for yourself, followed by a session in the decorating studio to design your own masterpiece of Emma Bridgewater pottery then indulge in our famous afternoon tea! Enjoy our award-winning, hour-long, behind the scenes factory tour and see how thirty pairs of hands transform a lump of clay into a piece of beautifully decorate pottery Decorate a piece of pottery of your choice, (up to the value of £20) in our colourful studio with expert introduction and help from our team Indulge in our famous Afternoon Tea served on Emma Bridgewater pottery in our cosy café. We offer Traditional, Vegetarian Vegan and Gluten Free Afternoon Teas – simply let us know your choice in the Special Requirements box when booking. Details: Available Mondays – Fridays inclusive (not available on weekends as manufacturing is closed) 11:30am for Factory Tour 1pm Session in the Decorating Studio 2.30pm Afternoon Tea along with a teapot of tea of your choice Price: £62 per person Please arrive 15 minutes before the your booked tour time. We’re sorry but we are not able to take late comers onto the factory once the tour has begun. Information: Unfortunately, our tour isn’t suitable for under 5 year olds due to health & safety requirements on our working factory If you have any queries about the piece you have decorated, please contact decoratingstudio@emmabridgewater.co.uk with your slip number, name and date of your visit We are pleased to offer a free carer ticket for any customer requiring a companion to enable them to visit us. Carers tickets can be booked by emailing bookings@emmabridgewater.co.uk and our team will respond and confirm by our team. To ensure your Carers Ticket is allocated, please email us at the time of booking your tickets. Read our Help Article for full details.  Please note that any bookings required within 24 hours of ordering must be placed before 2pm. Any orders placed after 2pm cannot be fulfilled as we need to prepare schedules for the coming day. Our sandwiches and cakes are made fresh every day, however some fillings and cakes are prepared in advance of service. Please make sure all dietary requirements and preferences are stated in the requirements box when booking. We cannot guarantee we will be able to accommodate changes on the day of your experience. For serious allergies or intolerances, please contact the café email on cafe@emmabridgewater.co.uk to discuss before booking. We’re not able to store suitcases or rucksacks or any customer luggage while you are visiting the factory due to lack of space and security risks. We advise leaving luggage either in your vehicle or at your hotel reception.
