Product description
The Dexcom ONE Transmitter is the wireless component of the Dexcom ONE Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) system, sending real-time glucose readings from the sensor to a compatible smartphone or receiver every 5 minutes via Bluetooth.
The Dexcom ONE Transmitter snaps securely into the Dexcom ONE sensor and transmits glucose data wirelessly to a compatible smartphone running the Dexcom ONE app, or to the optional Dexcom ONE receiver, every 5 minutes. This enables people with type 1 or type 2 diabetes to monitor their glucose levels continuously, track trends and receive customisable high and low glucose alerts without routine fingerstick calibration. The display device and transmitter should be kept within 6 metres of each other to maintain a reliable Bluetooth connection.
Each transmitter lasts up to 3 months and is reusable across multiple 10-day sensor sessions, with the Dexcom ONE app notifying the user when battery replacement is approaching typically 3 weeks before expiry. The transmitter is water resistant to IP68 (up to 2.4 metres for up to 24 hours) once snapped into the sensor, making it suitable for use during swimming, showering and bathing. Please note this product contains the transmitter only; Dexcom ONE sensors must be purchased separately. The transmitter is not compatible with sensors or components from other Dexcom CGM generations.
