Product Description

Cazcanes No. 7 Blanco presents a bright, organic and additive-free expression of Jalisco agave at its purest. With crisp citrus lift, sweet cooked agave and a whisper of pepper, it offers a clean sipping experience that also stands up nicely in elevated cocktails.

Origins & Craftsmanship
Produced in Amatitán, Jalisco, Mexico (Tequila Valley), Cazcanes No. 7 Blanco is crafted using 100% blue Weber agave grown at optimal maturity in volcanic, low-altitude (valle/Valle) terrain. The piñas are cooked in a low-pressure autoclave over a 24-hour cycle to preserve agave’s natural sweetness. Extraction is performed via a four-pass roller mill, and the juice is fermented with proprietary yeast in stainless steel vats using natural volcanic spring water trucked in from Navichi Springs. The spirit is double-distilled in stainless pots with copper coils, bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof), and is certified organic, kosher and additive-free. The brand emphasises “the lost art of tequila-making,” favouring traditional methods over shortcuts.

Tasting Profile

  • Nose: Bright and clean; aromas of sweet cooked agave, fresh grapefruit and orange citrus zest, subtle tropical fruit hints (guava/dark cherry), mineral notes and a faint presence of black pepper.

  • Palate: Medium weight with smooth texture; front-of-palate shows sweet agave nectar and citrus (grapefruit peel, orange), then transitions into vanilla-coconut warmth, white pepper and light brine/mineral undertones. A vegetal green edge and herbaceous note underpin the core.

  • Finish: Crisp and refreshing, with lingering sweet agave and citrus oils, a gentle pepper/spice flicker, and a clean mineral-driven fade—pure, precise, and without overt wood influence.
