The Moooi Zio Dining Table came out in 2013 when Marcel Wanders decided to try his hand at Nordic-style furniture instead of his usual over-the-top stuff. It's solid oak all the way through - no veneers over cheap cores here - with these rounded corners and edges that make the whole thing look softer than your typical rectangular dining table. Wanders mixed organic curves with straight cuts, so you get this interesting contrast where some parts flow and others stay geometric. The finish options are pretty varied: Cinnamon if you want warmth, White Wash for that Scandinavian look everyone's always posting on Instagram, Black if you're feeling dramatic, plus Grey, Wenge, and Natural Oil. Those rounded edges aren't just aesthetic either - you stop whacking your hip on sharp table corners when you're carrying dishes or trying to squeeze past someone's chair. Size-wise, there are three options depending on your space and how many people you're feeding regularly. The small one's about 75 inches and fits four without everyone playing footsie under the table. Medium stretches to 98 inches for six people with actual elbow room. The large hits 122 inches and can handle eight or more if you don't mind getting cozy. Standard dining height at 29.5 inches, so any normal chairs work without weird adjustments. Because it's solid oak instead of hollow construction, the table doesn't shake when someone leans on it or cuts into a tough piece of meat.
