The unique panel venting system acts as an air-intake on the chest while the vents under the arm and across the back release heat from the core to prevent that swampy overheating of many waterproof layers. Articulated sleeves, cuffs and hood stay in place in motion without the need for additional adjustment of bungees or pulls. C6 DWR is made from short-chain PFC's (perfluorinated chemicals) that, while better than long-chain PFC's, we recognize are not environmentally ideal. We are actively testing and looking for an alternative to C6 DWR finishing that will not compromise on the performance of our Rainrunner fabric as we transition to more PFC-free bio-based water repellent finishes.   Our Rainrunner fabric is also bluesign® certified meaning it is free from harmful chemicals and is fabricated in a way that meets a high environmental standard.
