Planting: The Alocasia prefers full sun to partial shade, so place it in front of a bright window. But you should provide some protection from the harsh afternoon sun. Because the Tiny Dancer arrives in a roomy container, you shouldn't need to repot right away. Only replant when/if the Tiny Dancer outgrows its original container, and select a pot that's about twice the width of the shipped container at that point. Make sure your pot has drainage holes, use organic soil mix, place your plant and water to settle the roots. 2. Watering: Check the surrounding soil's moisture level with your finger, about 2 or 3 inches down. Water your plant when there are a full two inches of dryness from the top of the soil.
