This ZOX was inspired by my wife, Kara. It's a name she's been asking us to make for over a year now, and I'm so excited to share it with all of you.

Tears ran down my face as I called my mom from the parking lot during my first semester of law school in California. I was so overwhelmed and thoughts of doubt kept racing through my mind: What had I gotten myself into? I’m not smart enough to be here. Maybe I should just pack my bags and move back to Kansas. I’m in over my head. There’s no way I’m going to be able to learn all of this…
My mom wasn’t going to let me drown myself in negative thoughts, but she also didn’t let me have a pity party. She told me there was a reason that I’d been accepted to that school - I earned my spot just like everyone else. However, if I didn’t start believing in myself, all of that hard work that got me there was for nothing.
She was right.
Life isn’t always going to be easy, people aren’t always going to be there to pick me up when I waver or fall, but one thing I always have is myself. In that moment, I knew that the first step to getting through and excelling in my new journey was choosing to think positively and believe in myself.
I’ll be honest, it wasn’t easy. Even now, I still have self-doubt from time to time. I still overthink things and question my own abilities. Though through all those challenges I've faced, I've found happiness. I've found that when I can prove to myself that I have what it takes, the doubt disappears. I hope this ZOX helps you in the same way it has me.
