Planting & Care
1. Planting: The best place for your ZZ Plant is near an east-facing window free from drafts. When you're ready to plant, select a pot approximately 12 to 14 inches in diameter and use well-draining soil. Also, make sure your pot has proper drainage holes.
Tip: You can place your pot on top of a base with stones to prevent spills and allow for proper moisture containment.
2. Watering: Allow the top layer of the soil to dry out completely between watering. When dry, water deeply until the water begins to drain. Check your soil about 3 inches down for dryness and repeat the watering process as needed.
3. Fertilizing: Start fertilizing at the beginning of the growing season in April with a succulent fertilizer. Follow the instructions on the package and stop fertilizing around August.
