The Porbeagle is a type of mackerel shark, a group that also contains the Great White and Mako Shark. Its closest relative is the Salmon Shark. While the Salmon Shark is found in Northern Pacific waters, Porbeagles are found in the North Atlantic Ocean and the waters of the Southern Hemisphere.
