Nectaron was developed over 17 years by New Zealand’s Plant & Food Research in partnership with NZ Hops. Released commercially in 2020, this triploid aroma hop is a full sister to Waimea and was bred for its bold tropical character. With a strong following among modern brewers, Nectaron has quickly earned a place in hop-forward favorites like NEIPAs and pale ales thanks to its potent aroma and biotransformation potential during active fermentation.
