The pen comes with a 15ml bottle of black shimmering ink.  At the heart of the Innova USA 250th Anniversary pens is the exclusive American made resin created by Jonathon Brooks specifically for this collection—each blank individually poured, swirled, and cured by hand in his North Carolina studio. Using his signature techniques, Jonathon blends vibrant red, white, and blue tones inspired by the American flag into bold, one-of-a-kind patterns. No two pens are alike, celebrating both personal expression and shared heritage. A stainless steel nib is individually hand-fitted to each fountain pen, intricately cut for maximum performance. Stunning and sleek, each Innova has the perfect flair, whether it is for a formal occasion, business, or casual setting. The Monteverde Innova fountain pen is offered with your choice of a reliable, smooth-writing German made JoWo #6 silver steel nib in extra-fine, fine, medium, broad, 1.1mm stub, or the JoWo Omniflex flexible steel nib for variation in line width. Our note about the JoWo Omniflex nib: This flex nib will allow you to experience more bounce and softness than writing with conventional nibs. You can achieve some line variation with a little additional downward pressure, to a point. We recommend flexing the nib to about twice the line width that you would see without using any pressure. Please take care to avoid pressing too hard on the nib, as over-flexing could prevent the tines from returning fully to their original position and decrease or stop your ink flow.
