A Dogwood with Unique, Fused Blooms

Looking for a truly unique flowering tree? The Mexican Flowering Dogwood Tree is the perfect choice! Perfect for accenting any landscape, this tree combines vibrant foliage with one-of-a-kind white flowers, for a true multi-season display.

In spring, this Dogwood Tree blooms with white bracts that remain fused at the tips, resulting in a unique, lantern-like shape. In fall, the Mexican Flowering Dogwood's foliage takes on a reddish hue, with bright red berries to match.

This Dogwood Tree makes a gorgeous landscape accent - even more so when planted in front of a backdrop of darker green plants, allowing its unique flowers to take center stage.

And the best part? This tree is resistant to common Dogwood issues like anthracnose and verticillium wilt, making it a low-maintenance tree to add to your outdoor space. It will even attract bees, birds, and butterflies to your garden for a lively scene throughout the seasons.

If you’re looking to add a flowering tree to your landscape, you can't go wrong with the Mexican Flowering Dogwood Tree. Order yours today!

Planting & Care

Planting: Select a planting site that receives full sunlight (about six hours of sun) or filtered shade. Dogwood trees are highly adaptable to many soil types, but they thrive in moist, fertile soils high in organic matter

Dig a hole that is three times the diameter of your tree’s root ball and of equal depth. Place your tree in the planting hole, keeping the top of the root ball even with the ground. Adjust your tree’s position/angle then use the original soil to backfill the planting hole. Water the area immediately to settle the soil.

Watering: It’s best to water your tree once or twice a week. Be sure to water correctly - light green leaves are a sign of overwatering, while drooping leaves can signify both underwatering and overwatering. Generally, you'll want to water until the soil is moist 2 to 3 inches down.

Fertilizing: If you choose to fertilize, do so in early spring before bloom then again three months later. Any general-purpose fertilizer will work.
