Meaning Brick, in Italian, the Mattone is SILCA's award winning seat bag powered by the Boa Closure System. With the Mattone Grande, Silca have now created a 'bigger brick' with .74L of internal volume almosn 2x the volume of the original Mattone (0.41L). The Mattone Grande is capable of holding up to 3 road tubes along with 2 CO2 cartridges, 2 tire levers and a multi-tool. Similar to the original Mattone, a high friction Hypalon strap with BOA® Closure completes the package. Making more than 15x the power of Velcro®, the BOA® Closure uses a ratcheting mechanism that will not creep or loosen even under the most extreme vibration and impact.
