Elegant yet bristling with a wild, thorny spirit, Lady Vengeance conceals her claws under velveteen petals, soft patchouli and golden vanilla. Bulgarian rose is initially the picturesque beauty, gleamingly clean and seamless in her immaculate presentation. But before long, lavender's chilling blue dust freezes rose's perfect surface until it cracks, plowing this rose into gravure, with blood red rivulets running in deep uneven lines. Vanilla assuages rose's horror at her transformation, but is neither saccharine nor overly accommodating; a remarkably solid force, vanilla is a steadfast, satin power that washes through the divots lavender wrought and filling them with its full, supple form.
