Product Description

This is one of Bobby's favorite T-shirt graphics because it ties so many of The Hundreds brand themes and life experiences into a singular image. The Hundreds is both rap and rock, East Coast and West. It's skateboarding, it's gang culture, the inspirations sweep across decades and subcultures. The base reference for Jerky is the Tommy Boy Records logo. The East Coast-based indie hip-hop label was home to De La Soul, Queen Latifah, and Naughty By Nature. Then, Bobby twisted the character around to shadow Dancing Man, the mascot of LA hardcore punk band Circle Jerks. Except, Dancing Man was dressed in streetwear black hoodie and engaged in different points of California culture, like skateboarding and handgun.

When Bobby thinks of the ideal The Hundreds T-Shirt graphic, he thinks of Jerky. They’re unicorns and rarely arise, but when they do, they stay with the brand and inspire future graphics.
