The 2022 Inglenook Sauvignon Blanc is a bright, expressive white that balances energetic citrus fruit and herbal tension with a textural richness derived from gentle oak influence. It shows how Napa Valley can produce Sauvignon Blancs that are both vibrant and layered—crisp and refreshing on the first sip, yet with enough structure to hold interest. Origins & Craftsmanship The wine is made at Inglenook Winery, located in the Rutherford AVA of Napa Valley.  The 2022 vintage is a blend of 76% Sauvignon Blanc and 24% Sémillon.  It was aged for 8 months sur lies (on its lees) using a mix of vessels and cask types: 23% new French oak, 35% neutral French oak, and 42% stainless steel. Harvest was from August 11 to August 22, 2022, following mild summer conditions that preserved acidity and freshness. The wine is bottled at 13.0% alcohol. Tasting Profile Aspect Notes & Highlights Appearance Pale gold with a slight sheen.  Nose / Aroma Zesty lime, lemon blossom, and gooseberry. Delicate floral hints.  Palate / Taste Bright citrus (lime, lemon), green apple, and gooseberry. The acidity is crisp and lively.  Finish Clean and refreshing, with citrus echo and a gentle mineral undertone.  Food & Pairings Serve: Chill to around 8–10 °C (46–50 °F), and use a white wine glass to allow the aromatics to expand.
