Update: Thanks to your generosity, the puppies are getting the care they need to survive and thrive. The sick puppies have beat parvovirus and continue to grow stronger each day.  The other rescued puppies have been vaccinated and will soon be ready to find loving homes. Last week we told you about 18 puppies Krystina had rescued. Since then, she and her team have discovered 3 more litters bringing the total number of puppies in her care up to 36. Caring for these additional puppies is already a huge undertaking, and then she discovered that some of the puppies have highly contagious and deadly parvovirus. They are fighting for their lives and need your support. While searching for lost and abandoned pets in villages near the frontlines in Ukraine, Krystina Drahomaretska recently discovered and rescued four litters of puppies and their stray mothers. Putting herself at great risk, she's brought these sweet families back to her shelter, Under the Sun. Sadly, not every puppy survived, but she now has 4 mamas and their 18 babies in her care. These puppies need veterinary care, including exams and treatment for minor maladies and immunizations. They will be cared for until they are ready to be adopted to families in Ukraine and around Europe.
