The setup uses a wide matte aluminum shade (39 by 25 inches) suspended horizontally about 14 inches below your ceiling, with a brass sphere detail that breaks up the flat geometry. At 43 inches wide overall, this works over dining tables, in entryways, or as a statement piece in living rooms where you need distributed ambient lighting across width rather than focused downward from one point. The shade hangs from blackened metal hardware with a minimal 4.8-inch round canopy, so most of the visual presence comes from the shade itself rather than mounting components. The integrated LED board puts out 800 lumens at 2700K - enough for ambient lighting without being harsh task light.
