Together with Thomas Graversen, her eye for organic shapes and experimentation with material properties brought an avant-garde edge in her position as Head of Design at Fredericia, which began in the late 1980s.Ditzel teamed up with her husband Jorgen to create a chair that would allow people to think in new ways as a result of sitting in new ways. Designed to be beautiful from any angle, the Ditzel Lounge Chair features a sculptural, organic silhouette inspired by nature, balanced by splayed wooden legs as a playful touch.
