The pen is crafted from lightweight aluminum, giving it excellent durability while maintaining a comfortable balance in the hand. Its unique Black Forest finish is achieved through a specialized hydro-dipping process that produces a wood-grain appearance. The result captures the warm aesthetic of natural timber while preserving the strength and reliability of metal construction.

Like other models in the Aero series, the pen features the collection’s signature streamlined shape, inspired by the aerodynamic forms of early 20th-century airships. The sculpted grooves along the cap and barrel not only define its iconic look but also provide a secure grip and enhance overall balance while writing.

Performance is equally impressive. The Aero Black Forest is fitted with a finely crafted #6 JoWo fountain pen nib, delivering smooth ink flow and reliable writing performance. Designed for everyday use as well as long writing sessions, it offers a controlled and comfortable writing experience.

A convenient snap-cap mechanism ensures secure closure while allowing quick access whenever inspiration strikes. The pen fills using standard international cartridges or a converter (both are included), offering flexibility for a wide range of inks.
