All Demeyere products are suitable for use in the oven or for use on gas, electric or ceramic cook surfaces. Demeyere uses their patented InductoSeal Technology for the base of the straight sided saucepans, sauté pans, stock pots and Dutch ovens in the Atlantis Series. A copper core is hermetically sealed between 6 layers then the base is welded to bottom of the 18/10 stainless steel pot. This creates superior heating of the surface and also provides extra protection from overheating.
