Product Description
Charm garden visitors with this spectacular peony. In late spring to early summer, up to 9", semi-double, bowl-shaped flowers cover this vigorous bush. The deep coral buds open to light coral-peach blossoms and look stunning in the garden and fresh floral arrangements. This floriferous peony produces lots of flowers for cutting, making it a good choice for commercial cut flower production. Its glossy, deep green foliage is very attractive and ornamental throughout the growing season. The new growth in spring is burgundy colored and turns a soft yellow in the fall. Grows 30-36" tall with a 24" spread. Deer resistant. Paeonia lactiflora 'Coral Charm'
Peonies have few requirements: give them a sunny well-drained location, plant 2-4' apart, with the eyes (new buds at the crown) no more than 2" below soil level and apply fertilizer or compost in spring. They take a while to establish, often 3 years before the first bloom—but the wait is worth it. They are heirloom quality. Let them grow undisturbed and they will bring joy to you and your loved ones through the decades.
