Origins & CraftsmanshipProduced by the Banhez Cooperative in the Ejutla district of Oaxaca, this mezcal represents the work of over 30 local families preserving traditional methods. The Ensamble blend combines approximately 90 % Espadín (Agave angustifolia) and 10 % Barril (Agave karwinskii), both hand-harvested at peak maturity. The piñas are roasted in underground earthen ovens, crushed using a traditional tahona stone, and naturally fermented in open air before being double-distilled in copper pot stills. Bottled joven (un-aged) at 42 % ABV, it maintains a clean yet expressive character showcasing its agave origins.
