About the Fragrance:
Mexico City, 1695. The royal convent of Jesús María, where cacao and spices perfume the cloistered air. Inspired by the original recipe for Mexican chocolate, Anima Dulcis captures the sensual warmth of cocoa, cinnamon, chili, and incense—an intoxicating blend both sacred and forbidden.
Rich cocoa bean absolute unfolds with dark intensity, wrapped in cinnamon bark and bright oregano. The heart deepens into clove buds, cumin, and huele-de-noche (night-blooming jasmine), enriched by a smoked chili infusion of ancho, guajillo, and chipotle. In the base, Mexican vanilla bean and cocoa bean absolute melt into a chypre accord, creating a warm, spiced, and unforgettable finish.
