Effortless Color, Right in Your Backyard

These radiant and colorful red-purple blooms are everything you love about a Magnolia, in one easy-to-manage package!

The Ann Magnolia boasts gorgeous, chalice-shaped flowers up to 9 inches wide - the perfect option for your spring landscape! It also produces a delightful fragrance without being too strong, offering a welcoming aroma no matter where it grows.

The Ann Magnolia blooms from April-May, so you won’t have to worry about a late frost killing your flowers. Not only that, but this magnolia flourishes again in the summer - giving your yard a burst of color for several months!

The best part? Your tree is maintenance-free and adaptable in just about any location. Whether you want to train it to be a small shrub, or you want it to grow to its mature height of nearly 15 feet, the Ann Magnolia is suitable for gardeners of all kinds!

Ready to bring a burst of sunshine to your landscape this spring and summer? Hurry and get your Ann Magnolia today!

Planting & Care

Planting: Plant your Ann Magnolia in a spot in your yard that receives full sun. Acidic to normal soils are best, so you may need to amend your soil if it is very alkaline. Make sure the soil is well-draining. Plant in a hole twice as wide but just as deep as the root ball. Add a thick layer of mulch around the tree.

Watering: Water frequently until the plant is established. You might need to water more than once a week during hot or dry months. Once established, only water during periods of drought.

Pruning: Once established, you can prune your Ann Magnolia immediately after it blooms. You can train this tree into a small shrub if desired. Pruning is not required for the health of this tree.

Fertilization: Fertilize with a magnolia-appropriate fertilizer in March, before your tree blooms.
